‘Dance Spirit’ Magazine occasionally solicits costumes for their magazine editorial content. For specific costume requests, they send us an email that gives us a heads up on their desired theme. If we have a particular costume that fits their parameters, we have about a week or so to send the costume for their photo shoot.
As we head towards the fall, make good use of the summer weeks that are still available. Don’t put off those trips any longer. Be sure and fit in at least a long weekend or two before the ‘official’ summer is over. It’s easier to count on OK weather before the snow starts falling!Read More
At Satin Stitches, we are very excited about the sport of High School Dance Team this coming fall and winter. We have been creating custom costuming and uniforms for these school affiliated teams since the early 1980’s – yes for longer than many current coaches have been alive!
Continued inspirations for creating our unique, custom performance costumes, here at Satin Stitches, includes watching historic or theatrical costumed television shows, movies and various fashion event, such as perusing the Red Carpet at The Golden Globes. (It’s a tough job, but SOMEBODY has to do it!)
