Here at Satin Stitches (a TRUE custom-design company) we keep our creative juices flowing, whenever you send in your request for custom-designed dance costumes or custom show choir costumes, etc. so don't be intimidated with thinking that your sketches aren't artistic enough for us to work with. Even stick figures work. Just submit a 'visual' so we get an idea of what look you are going for.

• What is a 'Care Swatch'? It is a fabric and trim concoction where we have sewn all your fabrics and trims (that we used to manufacture your costume), together in a piece that is easy to file with your team information.
• What do you use it for?
  1. It is a record, for your files – of the fabrics and trims used in your costumes.
  2. This 'Care Swatch' can be tested for different laundering options (for example – if someone gets lipstick on their costume – apply the same lipstick to the 'Care Swatch' and try different methods of removing it BEFORE you attempt to remove the lipstick from the actual costume.)
• In addition to your 'Care Swatch', we send you pages of helpful information to help you to AVOID costume laundering problems, and tips on what to do, should something bad occur.
• What should you do with this paperwork?
  1. READ it.
  2. UNDERSTAND it.
  3. Keep it HANDY, where you can refer to it in the future.
