Hermiston HS Dance Team Costumes designed by Satin StitchesWe had so many completed custom orders this last month – with HS dance teams in Oregon, Washington, and Missouri and many of our teams competing in national competitions in addition to big state tournaments! We have seen many photos and videos but hope you send us more, as we LOVE to see our costumes ‘in action’. We also are seeing photos and videos of incredible show choir performances – around the Midwest.

Our photo shoot went very well and consisted of stunning new audition outfits that are newly available in our Web Store. These new styles can also be customized and ordered for professional, semi-pro and college dance/cheer teams. Visualize these new designs in YOUR team colors!

And we are back to the ‘drawing board’ creating new custom team costumes for our clients, in addition to new customizable Web Store costumes that are suitable for our high school, junior high dance and cheer teams, as well as costumes for ice skaters and show choirs.

While you finish up your 2016-2017 season, you can start looking to the future by working with our design team to create new costuming for your 2017-2018 season. And save some serious cash with our continuing ‘Early Bird’ discounts!

It’s also worth a mention of our Promotional $5 towards any dance costume order, when you purchase a pair of Pastry Dance Sneakers in our Web Store.

HOT Costume Care 'TIP OF THE MONTH'!

How do you avoid ‘camel toe’?

What is ‘camel toe’?

It is the embarrassing phenomenon where fabric on a pair of shorts, panties etc. finds its way up into the nether regions of your ‘lady parts’, creating an immodest look.

How can this be avoided?

The answer is NOT redesigning your dance costume. The answer is to wear proper underwear!

Yes, you don’t want your ‘panty lines’ to show, and dancers are notorious for going ‘commando’. But think about it: it is VERY unsanitary to skip your underwear, especially if you don’t launder your costume after each wearing.

You just need to find panties that fit under your costume, don’t create obvious panty lines, and that have a large enough crotch section that doesn’t move or shift, and work itself up into your ‘lady parts’. Hint…don’t even consider a thong, which most likely will NOT do the trick.
